Senior Executive Service (SES) Development Program - Asian American Government Executives Network (AAGEN) - The AAGEN SES Development Program is only open to federal employees, and …is a tuition-free program that offers executive development courses, coaching in mock interviews, individual mentoring, and career counseling for candidates to gain the skills to effectively compete for SES positions.

National Leadership Training Program - Federal Asian Pacific American Council (FAPAC) - The annual training program is a premier training destination for federal employees including DC government and military. The training activity is in accordance with 5.U.S.C chapter 41 and 5 CFR 410.404 and approved by Office of Personnel Management.

- Annual training program to advance Federal careers for women. With over 30 sessions per day, position yourself for exponential growth.

NIH Women in Leadership Training Program - this workshop series is designed to provide women with insights, tools, and strategies to improve their leadership skills and expand their capacity to lead effectively.

NIH Mentoring Hub - NIH is dedicated to promoting continued learning through the vast wealth of knowledge available through mentoring. A more experienced person (mentor) shares knowledge, experience, and wisdom with another individual (mentee). The NIH Mentoring Hub encourages IC's to create a mentor program that is ideal for their workforce with creation of toolkits, best practices, and more.

NIH Mid-Level Leadership Program - The NIHTC offers a multifaceted, mid-level leadership development program that builds a bridge between senior leadership and junior staff. In filling this gap, the Mid-level Leadership Program provides a core component to a deliberate continuum of leadership development for inspired NIH staff.

NIH Senior Leadership Program - The program offers senior leaders at NIH the opportunity to develop leadership skills. The Senior Leadership Program provides a core component to our deliberate continuum of leadership development for inspired NIH staff.

NIH Executive Leadership Program - The Executive Leadership Program offers GS 15 and SES (and equivalent) leaders an opportunity to refine their leadership skills with a small cohort of high-performing NIH executives. Through this 7-month program, leaders will have the opportunity to engage with scholar practitioners via interactive discussions, NIH case studies and experiential exercises. Participants will have the opportunity to directly engage with NIH leadership by working on projects, attending special events and receiving support from peer mentors.

Asian American Government Executives Network (AAGEN) - Asian American Government Executives Network (AAGEN) promotes, expands, and supports Asian American and Pacific Islander leadership in government by holding leadership workshops, senior executive service (SES) development programs, and one-on-one mentoring and coaching sessions.

Federally Employed Women (FEW) - this national private membership organization works as an advocacy group to improve the status of women employed by the federal government and the District of Columbia government. FEW has a national governing board, a regional governing board, and local chapters all over the country.

Gerontological Society on Aging - Participate in the premier annual scientific meeting for cutting-edge scholarship, research, and networking in the fields of aging and gerontology. This year's theme is "The Fortitude Factor". The event will take place in Seattle, WA from November 13 to 16, 2024.

National Center to Reframe Aging - The National Center to Reframe Aging is committed to ending ageism by promoting a just and complete narrative about aging in America. The center is a reliable source of effective communication strategies and tools to present aging problems appropriately. The League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC) - established in 1929, is recognized as the oldest and most esteemed Hispanic civil rights organization in the United States. With a mission to promote the economic condition, educational attainment, political influence, housing, health, and civil rights of the Hispanic population in the U.S., LULAC has advocated for the rights and improvements of Hispanic Americans.

The National Association of Hispanic Federal Executives (NAHFE) - established in 1980, plays a critical role in championing the representation and advancement of Hispanics within the Federal government, mainly focusing on senior leadership roles from GS-12 to the Senior Executive Service (SES). NAHFE continues to make significant strides toward achieving a more representative and inclusive Federal workforce through its efforts.

The National Council of Hispanic Employment Program Managers (NCHEPM) - is the premier authority and advocate in the United States for enhancing Hispanic participation and representation within the Federal government. With a legacy extending over 25 years, the NCHEPM has been essential in disseminating critical information and resources. These efforts aim to support Hispanic Employment Program Managers and other DEIA (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility) practitioners in forging networks and coalitions crucial for bolstering the recruitment, development, and retention of Hispanics and other underrepresented communities in the federal workforce.

African American Federal Executive Association Inc.(AAFEA) - a non-profit association founded in February 2002 by African American members of the Federal Senior Executive Service. AAFEA promotes the professional development and advancement of African Americans into and within the senior ranks of the United States Federal Government. AAFEA sponsors programs and advocates for policies that enhance the opportunities for African Americans to serve our nation in senior-level positions. AAFEA membership is open to active and retired federal employees in grades GS-13 through SES (or equivalent).

Blacks In Government (BIG) - was organized in 1975 and incorporated as a non-profit organization under the District of Columbia jurisdiction in 1976. BIG has been a national response to the need for African Americans in public service to organize around issues of mutual concern and use their collective strength to confront workplace and community issues. BIG’s goals are to promote EQUITY in all aspects of American life, EXCELLENCE in public service, and OPPORTUNITY for all Americans.

A Union Of, By, and For Government Employees (AFGE) - represents over 750,000 workers in nearly every agency of the federal and D.C. governments, spread across over 900 local unions.

Members are nurses, correctional officers, doctors, Social Security professionals, TSA agents, law enforcement officers, park rangers, and so much more. They represent almost every type of federal employee, the agencies with the highest memberships are the Department of Veterans Affairs, the Social Security Administration, the Department of Defense, and the Department of Homeland Security.

Network of African-American Fellows at the NIH (NAAF) - This group was formed to create an environment of support for African American scientists during their tenure at NIH.

Examining the Asian American leadership gap and inclusion issues with federal employee data: Recommendations for inclusive workforce analytic practices (2022) - a report created by the NIH EDI in partnership with Federation of Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander Network to raise awareness of Asian American concerns in the federal workforce and how current employment and workforce analytic practices in this domain might contribute to the invisibility.

Combating Hate and Discrimination: Resource Guide (2023) - a compilation of federal resources intended to provide agency leaders and staff, and community leaders, with effective ways to address hate crimes and bias incidents against Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians and Pacific Islanders.

McKinsey & Company Women in the Workplace Annual Report (2023) - this is the largest study of women in corporate America and Canada. The report provides an intersectional look at the specific biases and barriers faced by Asian, Black, Latina, and LGBTQ+ women and women with disabilities.

EDI Accessibility Website - The EDI Accessibility Page serves as a central hub for all accessibility-related matters at NIH. This encompasses procedures for obtaining a sign language interpreter, requesting Reasonable Accommodations, and accessing Section 508 tools and resources. Apart from offering resources and information, the page also allows NIH employees to submit questions or concerns regarding accessibility within the organization.
