EDI, in concert with the Employee Assistance Program (EAP), presents a program on Employee Health and Wellness at NIH. The discussion will focus on mental health, stress management, and managing increase workloads.

Anna L. Verschoore, MSW, LCSW-C, LISW-S, received her bachelor’s degree in psychology and master’s degree in social work at the University of Maryland. She has completed advanced training in Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, Mind Body Medicine, Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), and other treatment interventions for trauma recovery. She presently serves as the federal coordinator of the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) at NIH. Prior to her arrival at NIH, Ms. Verschoore spent over 25 years at the Department of Defense and the Department of Veterans Affairs as a mental health clinician, supervisor, and clinic manager across several assignments. During this tenure, Ms. Verschoore was awarded the Meritorious Civilian award.

Jenn Wiggins is a licensed professional counselor who is passionate about transformational learning, strategic planning, and holistic care. Jenn currently serves as a wellness advisor in the Office of Intramural Education (OITE) where she provides individual guidance, staff consultation, curriculum development, and wellness programming. She specializes in working with historically marginalized communities and fostering diversity and inclusion as it relates to organizational outcomes. Jenn has ten years of experience providing individual and group psychotherapy, facilitating, teaching, and public speaking.
