The presentation will discuss findings on gender differences in employee engagement at NIH based on the results from the 2019 Federal Employee Viewpoint Survey (FEVS) by Janetta Lun, Ph.D.,.

Janetta is the Branch Chief of Data Analytics at the NIH Office of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion under the Division of Data Analytics and Customer Outreach. She leads efforts in providing demographic analyses of NIH employees for strategic planning, evaluation, and reporting on programs and activities for enhancing NIH workforce's diversity and inclusion. Before this role, she served as a senior behavioral scientist in the NIH Office of the Director's Scientific Workforce Diversity office. Before NIH, she was an AAAS Science & Technology Policy Fellow at USAID, serving as a gender specialist to support the implementation of the U.S. National Action Plan on Women, Peace, and Security. Dr. Lun received her doctorate in social psychology from the University of Virginia, where she began multiple lines of research in the science of diversity. Dr. Lun also enjoys teaching and facilitating workshops on cultural diversity topics.
