National Hispanic Heritage Month is September 15 to October 15 in the United States, when people recognize the contributions of Hispanic and Latino Americans to the group's heritage and culture. Diversity and inclusion enable us to thrive and grow. It is about giving value to the talents and perspectives that every employee brings to work every day, 365 days a year, no matter of our differences.
This year’s theme is Hispanic Americans: A History of Serving Our Nation, as we celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month, let us recognize the invaluable contributions of the Hispanic and Latino community to the National Institutes of Health’s mission. Together, let us reaffirm our commitment of creating and nurturing a working environment that fosters collaboration, flexibility, and fairness so that all individuals are empowered to participate and contribute to their full potential.
Sincerely yours,
Debra Chew, Esq.
